Shahram Aghapour, founder and president, established Saffron Bakery in 1986. He wanted to provide Charleston, SC with the finest pastries, breads and desserts. Since the opening, Saffron has been awarded best bakery in Charleston on numerous occasions. After a few years, and due to high demand, their wholesale bakery was established to provide many restaurants, hotels, coffee shops, and bed and breakfasts with high quality breads and pastries. Known to have high quality ingredients and products, Saffron has a staff of one dozen experienced bakers to help them succeed."

Sharie Aghapour. Operations Manager of Saffron Wholesale Bakery. Graduate of Wilton School of Arts in Chicago with a Masters Degree. Her 30 years of baking and pastry has given her the creativity in making beautiful wedding cakes.
Yamin Kegley. Development Manager of Saffron Wholesale Bakery. Graduate of The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York with a Bachelor's Degree. Her passion for food, customer service and sales has given her opportunities to work for The Ritz Carlton, The Sanctuary on Kiawah Island and The Omni Resort and Spa on Amelia Island.
